The Protection Necklace

The elements of the Medicine Beads™Protection Necklace are designed to ward off negative energies and help you find the power and strength within yourself. It is made with beads of Onyx and Quartz Crystal, chips of Lapis Lazuli and "heishe" beads of Liquid Gold.  When I created this necklace, my husband took one look at it and said, "It's ferocious!" To further enhance its power, you can perform this ritual each evening:

Protective Ritual

Place a square mirror on your dresser or altar, in an area away from anything that could catch fire. Set a purple candle before it so that the flame will be reflected in the mirror. Unclasp your necklace, and lay it in a semi-circle between you and the candle. There should be nothing between the candle and the mirror.

Light the candle. The onyx beads will have absorbed any negativity directed toward you during the day. Visualize them as gathering that negativity and sending it into the candle's flame. Then see the flame acting as a lens, focusing the negativity and sending it into the mirror.

The mirror is a doorway onto the spiritual plane. The negative energy is sent through it back to the original sender. Protection is conferred.
