Deep shades of garnet and almost-black prevail in this longer, dramatic necklace.
"Dark Side of the Moon" features a large (2") polished disk of Fancy Jasper, on a necklace that includes Garnet (beads and large rough chips), Rose Quartz, Thai Hill Tribes Sterling Silver (handmade and 99% pure), Wood, Rainbow Obsidian, and large polished nuggets of Quartz Crystal with interesting inclusions. "Mother Earth"
The shadings and patterns that occur in natural stones and minerals are a constant wonderment to me. "Mother Earth" features Golden Rutilated Quartz -- natural Quartz Crystal with strands of Golden Rutile running through it.
The necklace includes a pendant of Golden Rutilated Quartz set in .925 Sterling Silver, along with chips and faceted "coins" of the same gemstone. Also included are Freshwater Pearls, Citrine, rough nuggets of natural Pyrite (also known as "Fool's Gold") and tiny beads of Thai Hill Tribe Silver* and Rajasthani (Indian) Silver. *Thai silver beads are made by the Karen Hill Tribe in northern Thailand using traditional tribal methods passed down from generation to generation. The silver content in these beads is typically 95-99%, even higher than sterling (92.5%).

I do custom necklaces as well, and each is made to order and tailored to your wants and needs. "Rx Beads" are designed using stones chosen for specific healing purposes. "Birthday Beads" are based on the wearer's birthdate and astrological sign. (Upon request, I can incorporate both into a single piece.) Rx Beads and Birthday Beads are priced at $150 and include a personalized and colorful, full page written explanation of the beads chosen and their qualities.
